⑥ Garbage Etiquette
- There is very little public trash in Japan, so it is basic to take your garbage home (or dispose at hotels, etc.)
- Separation rules: burnable, non-burnable, PET bottles, cans/bottles
- Convenience stores and train stations: Trash bins in convenience stores are for purchased items only. Disposing other trash here is considered bad manners
