Higashi Chaya District
The Higashi Chaya District is one of the traditional tea districts preserved in Kanazawa, where visitors can still experience the atmosphere of the Edo period. Wooden townhouses line the streets, with cafes serving Japanese sweets and matcha, as well as shops selling crafts and souvenirs. Visitors can stroll in kimono or enjoy the nighttime illumination, experiencing a different charm during day and night.
